For the past 4 years, our group of mother/daughter friends have going on a 2-night backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevada. It’s time to hike, relax, chat, slow down and have fun.

Last week I spent a morning shooting the facinating creating process of Diana Markessinis in her studio in Alameda. Diana sculpt unique pieces that she calls weirdos until they become pieces of art.

For spring break we took off to Mexico City - it was our 1st time there! What a big crazy city! We loved all the food, the architecture, the different neighborhoods, the museums, the history, the markets, the colors and of course the people. We can’t wait to go back!

We rented a couple of campervans and went off the grid for a few days. We found dispersed camping spots that were great and were able to take a break and enjoy the Arizona desert.

The first summer of the pandemic, for the first we did not flew back to France. It was our chance to go on the road to discover some of the states we did not know. We rented a sprinter van and off we went. We mostly stayed in dispersed camping spots, and a few Hipcamp spots.

I visited Sea Ranch and decided to dust off my film camera. I own a Leica M7 with several Leica Lenses. I used 10 year old films and here is what came out. I love the softness of the film and strange colors the old films gave to the pictures.

Every year for Thanksgiving my family go on a road trip around Arizona with another family. We have been doing a road trip around the Southwest for 4 years in a row at Thanksgiving.

Last Labor Day week, Liz’s family took us on a backpacking trip in the High Sierra. It was without any doubt one of the best family weekend we’ve had in a long time.

Last summer, instead of going to France like we usually do, we rented a camper van and went on a 3 week road trip around the American north west.

On March 13, 2020 like most of the world we were asked to stay put. So we did.

Our first time kayaking with our Sea Eagle inflatable kayaks was on Lake Tahoe in the fall.
